Creating YOUR Plan

In order to accomplish something in particular, one of the most successful ways to reach your goals is to have a plan. Figure out ways to get to your goals and break them down into smaller segments. Once you have broken down those segments, focus on completing each one individually. At the same time you are reaching toward your goal by accomplishing the smaller tasks little by little. When it comes to social media, people need to develop a solid plan in order for their personal profile to look impressing to others who view them.

Just like how it says in the book of "The Art of Social Media", p.17 says "Most people need a tactical, logical, and cogent plan to support what they want to accomplish with social media." What is being said in that page is pretty straightforward, but many people do not take that into consideration that planning is essential in the social media field. Your profile basically defines who you are in a nutshell. Do you want others to see that you are a person of interest with innovative ideas or are you just not that interesting with bland posts? It is important that you get others to have an appropriate perspective of who who are and how you can contribute to life in various aspects through social media.

  1. As said in the article, planning is one of the most important steps to achieving a goal. Also, I agree with how social media has been tied into the article, warning people to watch what he or she posts, because every post reflects on you and how carry yourself. If someone was to apply for a job and their social media contains inappropriate posts and their vulgar language, that job will most likely not have that candidate, since your social media reflects on you as a person. I liked that piece of information in this blog because I feel that many young people fail to realize the importance of an appropriate and professional social media.
