These are the pictures, videos, and tweets I had posted during the homecoming events this past weekend. I had a great experience seeing the atmosphere and the enchanting crowds who were supporting ONU.
In today's society, the majority of people get carried away with thinking they wouldn't be at certain places without social media. For example, the reason why a person gets a job is because a person on their social media platform was introducing their business company to get their followers to join their business. President Trump has stated that he would not be where he is today with out social media in general. According to an article on VOA News , President Trump defended his regular use of social media and said that he may not have won the White House without it. He is specifically referring to the use of Twitter because this is his platform of choice. It's also another way to keep the people updated on what is going on and his current plans. "Tweeting is like a typewriter. When I put it out, you immediately put in on your show. I doubt I would be here if it weren't for social media, to be honest with you." said President Trump. The women's volleyball team at Ohio Northern University (ONU) has had a very successful season with 27 wins, five losses and being nationally ranked at 18. The team will be playing in the first round of the Division III NCAA Tournament on Friday November 10, ONU will make it's way to Wittenberg, Ohio to take on DePauw University. The ONU volleyball team now has a great chance to advance to the national championship if they continue to win. Also, if ONU continues to win more games, this will give our university another successful title for the success we had. It was a great opportunity to watch the women's volleyball team against Mount Union last Thursday, November 2. The fans were going wild, and the team played with passion while gaining another victory. The level of competition they put out showed the hard work and intensity they've been putting in at practice the entire season. I look forward to the team gaining more success as the season continues.

The problem with many students is that we often procrastinate and wait last minute to cram all the test material in our heads before the actual test. Truth be told, that strategy is never helpful because studying for a test takes time and effective reviewing beforehand. Cramming for an exam only puts more pressure in your brain that does not cause you to think clearly. In order to succeed on an exam, it's important to follow the simple steps to study well. Below are my 10 strategies for studying effectively: 10. Stay hydrated, eat the right foods, and make sure you're getting enough sleep (nutrition). It is important to be energized when comprehending the test material in order to remember more vividly. 9. Begin studying for the exam a few days before. This will make you feel slow paced, relaxed, and less pressured when studying the test material. 8. Study in a quiet place. Reduces distractio...
