ONU Wifi


Lately I have been having issues with connecting to the wifi on campus. Because I can't connect to the wifi here, I am unable to complete my assignments at the time I would like for them to be complete. Most of my assignments are done by Moodle, an online school source. I would turn my assignments through that website. There are some suggestions if the same incident occurs with you:

-Begin typing your assignment through Microsoft Word (which doesn't require internet)
-Use the computers at the library
-Contact I.T. (Information Technology)

Those suggestions may be used in order to get your homework done on time. Also, I am a Netflix user. Every time the wifi at ONU acts up, I am unable to access my movies and T.V. shows. I am not the only student that struggles with this issue. Dozens of people that I associate with are facing the same issue. With the high quality resources that ONU has, I really think that this needs a critical fix.

ONU Women's Volleyball

The women's volleyball team at Ohio Northern University (ONU) has had a very successful season with 27 wins, five losses and being nationally ranked at 18. The team will be playing in the first round of the Division III NCAA Tournament on Friday November 10, ONU will make it's way to Wittenberg, Ohio to take on DePauw University. The ONU volleyball team now has a great chance to advance to the national championship if they continue to win. Also, if ONU continues to win more games, this will give our university another successful title for the success we had. It was a great opportunity to watch the women's volleyball team against Mount Union last Thursday, November 2. The fans were going wild, and the team played with passion while gaining another victory. The level of competition they put out showed the hard work and intensity they've been putting in at practice the entire season. I look forward to the team gaining more success as the season continues.

My Personal Experience During Homecoming Weekend

This past homecoming weekend was truly a blast and one of the few life memories to have. Having participating in the football program and playing in the game during homecoming a weekend was absolutely a blessing hearing the people in the stands root for ONU and showing major support. When I reminisce homecoming back in high school, I picture the amazing memories I have being nominated for homecoming king and standing in the middle of the football field during halftime with the other nominees. When it comes to college homecoming, the spirit is much more enchanting and people really showed love for the school. It was an honor seeing the alumni coming back. It was also a great opportunity meeting an NFL athlete and former Ohio Northern football player, Jason Trusnik. Jason really gave us some encouragement in the locker room during halftime and we came out and got a phenomenal win.
